The HEP (JF) electric valve positioner converts the electrical signal from the control device into a pneumatic signal that actuates the control valve, while also providing valve positioning functionality. Specifically, it overcomes stem friction and counteracts the balancing forces caused by changes in the pressure of the controlled medium, ensuring that the valve opening corresponds to the control signal output by the control device and achieving accurate positioning.
