Industry–education integration fosters synergy, as universities and enterprises join forces to embark on a new journey. After years of dedicated collaboration, they are now writing a new chapter. On the morning of April 2, the strategic cooperation symposium between the Lanzhou University of Technology Wenzhou Pump and Valve Engineering Research Institute and the Jinfeng Fluid Technology Group, along with the appointment ceremony for graduate supervisors, was held successfully.

After years of dedicated collaboration, they are now writing another chapter of success. On the morning of April 2, the Lanzhou University of Technology Wenzhou Pump and Valve Engineering Research Institute and Jinfeng Fluid Technology Group held a strategic cooperation symposium and a ceremony to appoint graduate supervisors. Ma Donglin, Director of the Lanzhou University of Technology Wenzhou Pump and Valve Engineering Research Institute and Director of the Wenzhou Joint Graduate Training Base, along with Deputy Secretary Qin Zhengguo, led a delegation that included three resident graduate students. Chen Zhitao, General Manager of Jinfeng Fluid Technology Group, extended a warm welcome, while Senior Engineer Wu Jianman attended throughout the event. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening their cooperation and explored avenues for shared development.

At the symposium, Dean Ma Donglin and Secretary Qin Zhengguo first expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Jinfeng Fluid for its longstanding support of the institute’s work. They noted that university–enterprise collaboration is a vital pathway for advancing industry–education integration, highlighting that the two sides have established a solid cooperative foundation and achieved fruitful results. Looking ahead, they pledged to further deepen cooperation in areas such as joint graduate training and tackling key technological challenges, thereby facilitating the efficient translation of research outcomes into industrial value and fostering mutually beneficial outcomes for both the university and the enterprise.

Subsequently, Senior Engineer Wu Jianman provided the university delegation with a detailed overview of the company’s current development status, its product portfolio, and progress in digital transformation. General Manager Chen Zhitao stated that the company’s high‑quality growth hinges on the support of top‑tier talent. Over the years, the Wenzhou Pump and Valve Institute of Lanzhou University of Technology has supplied enterprises with highly qualified personnel, effectively driving technological R&D and upgrading. At the same time, the company has offered graduate students a practical platform, fostering the integration of theory and practice and ensuring that talent development and corporate growth advance in tandem. He commended the outcomes of the collaboration between the two parties and expressed his anticipation for further deepening their synergistic development.

The successful convening of this symposium has established a two-way empowerment platform for “universities cultivating talent and enterprises employing it.” Taking this opportunity, three graduate students will join Jinfeng Fluid to undertake practical training, honing their hands-on skills and gaining industry experience.
Going forward, both parties will continue to deepen industry–education collaboration and resource sharing, innovate graduate‑training models, and focus on tackling key technologies in the pump and valve sector through joint research efforts. Together, they will “cultivate talented professionals through school–enterprise partnerships and foster growth through hands‑on experience,” thereby jointly driving high‑quality development of the pump and valve industry.
